The Mounting Darkness
64 AD. Rome has burned and the terrible fire has been blamed on an innocent but untrusted group: the followers of Jesus.
As persecution heightens, many believers flee the city. Many who don’t are martyred.
The Apostle Peter takes pen in hand to write a letter. But what is there to say? What does the church need to hear? What truth needs to be spoken into the mounting darkness?
